ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please submit the abstract for NVRS Congress 2026 (3-4 April) in conjunction with VRSB under the following categories:
A. Medical Retina
B. Surgical Retina
C. Pediatric Retina
D. Community Ophthalmology in retina
E. Competitive video session
F. Anterior segment management perspective in retinal pathology
G. Miscellaneous (innovations/prove your point/ interesting cases)
A structured abstract should conform to the following guidelines.
- For original research articles, please include the following:
Title, Author Details, Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion - For case reports, please include the following:
Title, Author Details, Background, Case Report, Conclusion

DETAILS
- The ABSTRACT TITLE must be concise. Avoid using abbreviations in the title.
- AUTHORS
FIRST (PRESENTING) AUTHOR: The first author will be the presenting author.
Please provide an accurate email address for the first (presenting) author.
Abstract submission results and abstract-related correspondence will be sent by email to the first author. - CO-AUTHOR(S): A maximum of FIVE co-authors are allowed for each abstract. Type in the full names and affiliations as you would like them to appear in any publications.
- Do not include graphs, tables, images or references in the abstract.
- Maximum word count should be 250 (excluding author details).

Content Specifications
Title: Max 120 characters (Title Case).
Abstract Body: 120–150 words (Max 1,000 characters). Do not repeat the title or include headings.
Background Statement: 250 characters. Do not copy-paste your abstract here.
Producer Limits: Recommended max of 2 as Senior Producer and 4 total.
Video Technical Requirements
* Length: Maximum 5 minutes.
* Format: MPEG-4 is preferred
* Audio: Final edited version with English sound/narration.
* Mandatory Intro: 30–45 seconds at the start for author credits and Financial Disclosures (required even if you have no interests to disclose).
Important Compliance
* You must have written authorization for any music or copyrighted material. Ensure you have signed release forms for any recognizable patients. Videos must be educational and cannot promote specific commercial products.
Last date of abstract submission: 14th February 2026
